Aquacology - Water is water, or is it? In this class your students will explore the world of aquariums and aquarium filtration. By building their own aquarium systems complete with filtration, students will discover the importance of water quality and what it takes to keep water suitable to support life. Protein skimmers, bio-towers, UV sterilizers and other state of the art aquarium filtration components will be explored in this interactive class.
We will be eating lunch at the aquarium and then will be given three hours to tour the aquarium. We are limited to 50 students and 5 adults for this trip. Tolerancenter/Holocaust Exhibit Tour
This 3-hour tour is recommended for students ages 12 and above. Students engage in the state-of-the-art interactive exhibits that expose the dynamics of prejudice and discrimination historically and today. Witness history as you journey through the Holocaust exhibit and receive a photo passport card of a child whose life was changed by the Holocaust.
